Legal Counsel

to be based in Singapore , who will work to support the APAC and South Africa business.Job Description

Providing legal advice on public procurement related activities and participating in multi-disciplinary task force for public tendersNegotiation, drafting, analysis, and review of various commercial agreements (distribution, agency, license, services, etc.)Management of litigationin close cooperation with local lawyersAdvising the subsidiaries on an occasional basis on a variety of legal matters relating to e.g. competition law, financing solutions, social law and HR matters in order to harmonize good legal practicesContribute to elaborate various internal policies and proceduresProvide training and guidance to the businessQualifications

Master degree in Law and relevant experience of minimum 7 years as a lawyer and/or as an inhouse legal counsel in an international environmentYou have experience with corporate law and commercial contracts e.g. distribution agreements (drafting and negotiating) and notions of competition lawExperience in public procurement and/or litigation is a strong asset/mustYou are fluent (oral and written) in English. Additional languages are an assetYou are customer focused, solution oriented and ensure timely follow-up with a sense of urgencyYou are flexible regarding working hours, taking into account the different time zones of the businessYou are autonomous and able to organize your work in a hybrid working environmentYou have strong organizational and project management skills to enable management of multiple projectsYou are able to communicate effectively with all levels within and outside of the companyYou are a team player and able to work independently and on own initiativeYou are open minded, a good listener and easily approachable and appreciative of cultural differencesYou are able to analyze and advise on complex legal matters and to communicate clearly and effectively to the businessYou actively seek out new ideas, take risks based on a rational analysis, challenge the status quo of work processes and systemsYou have a business ethical mindsetYou are willing to work from the office and you are prepared to travel on an occasional basisAdditional Information
