Roles & Responsibilities

Key responsibilities / Experience:

  • Analyze, Design, develop and implement solution using BI tools and translate the customer requirements into project deliverables.
  • Experienced in Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence/Analytics areas in various domains.
  • Ensure that a quality solution is developed and delivered in a timely manner, within budget, and to our client's satisfaction.
  • Strong hands-on experience implementing dashboards, data visualizations and analytics using Tableau desktop and server. Hands on experience in writing complex SQL, PL/SQL queries. Utilize industry best practices for Data Warehousing and deliver the solutions to the customer.
  • Hands-on experience in creating prototypes and implementations incorporating cloud engineering best practices, Develop technical design, interface specifications etc., as applicable.
  • Strong experience in designing Data Warehouse solutions using Tableau for large data volumes from various data sources (Oracle, SQL Server, Large Excel Files etc.). Strong Experience in Data Migration.
  • Experienced in configuring repositories, creating/managing dashboard and reports using Tableau.
  • Expertise in analyzing business requirements and translate them in dashboards and reports.
  • Analyze current business practice, processes and procedures as well as identifying future business opportunities for leveraging Data & Analytics solutions on various platforms.
  • Possess good understanding of the Applications, Data Flow and Data Relations.
  • Team player with good communication, collaboration and interpersonal skills. Excellent client-facing and internal and external communication (Written/Verbal) skills.
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate with multiple parties in the project including project manager, solution designer, QA team, business stakeholders and customers.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or software engineering.
  • 5-7 years of experience in Big Data, data warehouse, data analytics projects, and/or any Information Management related projects.
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience in design and development of Data Warehouse Projects using Tableau Desktop & Server, MS Excel, Oracle, MS SQL Server. Experience working with Amazon Web Services and similar cloud platforms and hosted Data Warehouse in the cloud.
  • Prior experience building large scale enterprise data architectures/Datawarehouse using commercial and/or open source Datawarehouse technologies, Datawarehouse software life cycle and the processes.
  • Well experienced in Data Migration projects and should be able to guide team to migrate the data in cloud platform.
  • Demonstrable Cloud experience with AWS, Azure and or GCP.
  • Should have experience handling Data Warehouse, Data Transformation and Data Migration projects.
  • Should have experience Developing Data Warehouse Projects both in Cloud and as well in On Premises.
  • Should have solid understanding of Data Warehouse Architecture, Data Modelling, and ETL process.
  • Mandatory Requirement: Should be A Certified AWS (Amazon Web Services) Developer Associate/ AWS Data Engineer/A Certified AWS (Amazon Web Services) Cloud Practitioner.
  • Mandatory Requirement: Should be an Expert Developer using Tableau and have a strong experience developing Data Warehouse Solutions. Using Tableau Server to publish and share the reports with the business stakeholders and customers.
  • Should be able to understand and analyze the existing Business Applications and Data Warehouse technical requirements and proliferate that functional, technical and application migration changes to the team, Developers and Testers in the Project and align with all the relevant project stakeholders on the project requirements.
  • Ability to work with and communicate with a variety of audiences, executive level/peer-to-peer/ subordinate/ technical and non-technical etc.
