Roles & Responsibilities
  • Client Assessment and Intervention: Evaluate and identify the needs of clients across various settings—Rehabilitation (Early Intervention Programme, Continuing Therapy, Special Schools), Adult Rehabilitation, Community-Based Rehabilitation (Day Care Centres, Day Rehabilitation Centres, Nursing Homes), Vocational Rehabilitation.
  • Develop and implement appropriate therapeutic interventions and programmes.​
  • Group Therapy and Public Outreach: Conduct individual and group therapy sessions.
  • Professional Development: Stay updated with the latest research and developments in occupational therapy. Engage in networking with hospitals and other community organizations to enhance service delivery.​
  • Supervisory and Administrative Roles (Senior Occupational Therapists): In addition to clinical work, take on supervisory and administrative responsibilities, including mentoring junior therapists and contributing to programme development.​

Requirements:

  • AHPC Full Registration
