As a Project Designer, you will play a crucial role in translating design concept into precise technical drawings that guide the construction and fit-out process. Your primary responsibility is to produce accurate, high-quality drawings for design development and construction, ensuring compliance with projects requirements, industry standards and regulatory guidelines.

Key responsibilities:

1. Drafting & Technical Drawings

  • Develop detailed design development drawings and construction shop drawings for interior fit-out projects.
  • Prepare floor plans, relected ceiling plans, elevations, sections, and detailed joinery drawings using AutoCAD or Revit.
  • Ensure drawings are clear, accurate, and compliant with BCA codes, fire safety regulations, and project specifications.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to produce fabrication and installation drawings.

2. Design Development & Coordination

  • Work closely with the deisng and project teams to translate concept designs into buildable solutions.
  • Assist in material selection adn detailing, ensuring constructability and aestheric alighnment with the project's vision.
  • Incorporate MEPC (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and Fire Protection) coordination into design drawing to prevent clashes during construction.

3. Construction Documentation & Compliance

  • Produce and update construction documents, shop drawings, and as-build drawings as required.
  • Ensure all drawings are systematically labelled, categorized, and achived for easy retrieval and reference.
  • Track and maintain revision control, ensuring all stakeholders have access to the latest drawings.

4. Collaboration & Communication

  • Liaise with clients, consultants, project managers, and site teams to ensure technical accuracy and feasibility.
  • Participate in site meetings, coordination duscussions, and design reviews to address construction challenges.
  • Provide technical support to the project team, clarifying design and modifications when required.

5. Continous Improvement & Best Pratices

  • Stay updated with new drafting techniques, software advancements, and industry standars.
  • Contribute to process improvements in design documentation, workflow efficiency, and quality control.

Key requirements:-

  • Diploma/ Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.
  • Proficiency in AutoCad, Revit, or other drafting software.
  • Strong knowlege of interior construction methods, materials, and technical detailing.
  • Familiarity with Singapore Building Regulations (BCA,SCDF,URA) and fit-out construction processes.
  • Ability to interpret and execute design intent into detailed drawings.
  • Execellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work under tight deadlines.
