Roles & Responsibilities

Job Description

• Cafe Operations: Oversee day-to-day cafe operations, including food preparation, service, cleanliness, and organization, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning of all aspects of the cafe environment
• Barista and Cashier Training: Provide instruction and hands-on practice in barista skills such as coffee brewing, beverage preparation, and cashier duties, equipping trainees with valuable customer service and hospitality skills.
• Events Coordination: Assist in planning and executing cafe events, such as special menus, themed nights, or catering services, involving trainees in event preparation, service delivery, and customer interaction.
• Community Engagement: Engage with external stakeholders, including families, caregivers, social service agencies, and community partners, to promote awareness of the cafe program and foster collaboration in supporting trainee development and transition to open employment.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of trainee progress, attendance, and achievements, and prepare regular reports for internal monitoring and evaluation purposes, contributing to program improvement and accountability.
• Customer and Caregiver Communication: Interact with customers and caregivers, ensuring positive experiences and addressing any concerns or inquiries promptly and professionally, fostering strong relationships and promoting inclusivity and understanding within the community.

Job Requirements

• Higher NITEC/ Diploma/ Degree in any discipline
• Possess 2 to 3 years of related working experience in F&B
• Possess good communication skills
• Able to interact well with people with special needs and their caregivers
• Required to work on Saturday
