Roles & Responsibilities

About the Role:

  • Attend client facing meetings with Client Services Team and other respective Team Sector leads during pre-contract phase and new business development opportunities.
  • Understand overall design deliverables and project tasks expectations for development of project brief.
  • Prepare, develop relevant drawings for test-fits, concept, images, material, look-book and other documents relating to design submissions and new pitch work.
  • Prepare Project Brief including Project Outcomes, Sustainability Outcomes, Quality Aspirations and Spatial Requirements.
  • Prepare, develop relevant drawings for test-fits, concept design, schematic design and design development, images, material, look-book and other documents relating to awarded projects.
  • Source site information and conduct site survey as required.
  • Define project requirements and schedule during briefing phases.
  • Research and define design ideation to align to client brief.
  • Coordinate, align and update design deliverables with assigned Project Manager and manage outputs from all design support personnel and/or third-party consultants.
  • Align design specification, product, and material finish choice to agreed client budget and align to agreed internal project profit plan.
  • Adhere to agreed design program with assigned Project Manager.

About You:

  • Minimum of 8+ years Interior Design experience within Workplace sector. Any prior experiences with F&B, Hospitality, Educational, Architectural sector would prove beneficial.
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, and design related software.
  • A background and successful track record as lead designer in the commercial real estate industry.
  • A broad industry network and ability to maintain relationships.
  • An entrepreneurial, client advisory led focused individual.
  • Able to understand client brief and formulate compelling design solutions, ft for purpose and buildable to client brief and budget.
