Roles & Responsibilities

We are looking for a Finance Executive/ Accountant (6 months' contract) who will work hand in hand with our Assistant Finance Manager to manage the full spectrum of accounting, including preparation of full sets of accounts, performing financial reporting and financial analysis, as well as providing administrative support to the Finance team.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE FINANCE EXECUTIVE

  • Responsible for supporting the Finance/Accounting Operations, comprising of AR, AP, GL and month end / year end closing processes. AR process includes update of monthly sites tracker for recurring charges computation, monthly revenue computation for invoice generation and netting settlement with 2 customers.
  • Manage and assist with the procurement process including getting approval for purchase orders and creating purchases orders in the system
  • Ensure timely recording of accounting transactions and update of schedules
  • Prepare quarterly GST submissions
  • Assist with monthly management reporting
  • Support audit, tax and other statutory requirements and ad-hoc projects/ initiatives

JOB REQUIREMENTS AND PREFFERED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Diploma in Accounting / Finance, ACCA or equivalent, with at least 3 years' relevant work experience
  • Strong computer literacy and competent in MS Office, especially MS Excel
  • A resourceful and meticulous individual who can multi-task and work under tight timelines and pressure
  • Mature and confident team player who can work and drive effectively with different levels of stakeholders within the organization
  • Experience with Oracle NetSuite preferred
  • Independent and motivated self-starter
