Roles & Responsibilities

A Dental Surgery Assistant is a clinical support officer on the dental team.

As a Dental Surgery Assistant, you'll greet patients and ensure their comfort during and after their appointments.

In this role, you'll have the opportunity to work under the supervision of a senior dental surgery assistant, assisting the dentist when treating patients. This provides a unique chance for you to learn and grow in your career in the dental field.

Responsibilities:

  • Helping with infection control by sterilizing and disinfecting instruments.
  • Setting up instrument trays.
  • Preparing materials and instruments.
  • Assisting dentists with dental procedures.
  • Assisting in performing dental radiography.
  • Assisting in ordering dental supplies when supplies are low in stock.
  • Educating patients on dental and post-operative care.
  • Handling patient registration, appointment scheduling, and inquiries.

Requirements:

  • Candidates should possess at least GCE 'N' Level or equivalent.
  • Teamwork.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships.
  • Willingness to work on a 5-day workweek basis.
  • Ability to work rotating shift duties (including nights and weekends).

Work Location:

  • Bedok,Tampines,Yishun, Hougang area.
