Job Description

As a Back-End Developer, you will focus on developing and maintaining the core server-side logic, database systems, and APIs that power Project WATT. This role requires deep expertise in back-end development, with a focus on scalability, data security, and high-performance system architecture. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure robust back-end support for product deployment and daily operational requirements.

Your work will also involve optimizing system performance, maintaining robust security measures, and ensuring that the back-end infrastructure aligns with business objectives while addressing the unique challenges of product deployment and operational scenarios.


Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and optimize server-side logic and API architectures to handle high-concurrency scenarios and ensure seamless integration with front-end systems.
  • Build scalable and efficient database systems, focusing on advanced query optimization and data integrity.
  • Implement robust data security measures, including encryption, access control, and compliance with industry standards.
  • Monitor and enhance system performance, addressing bottlenecks and ensuring stability under high traffic loads.
  • Develop complex and reliable APIs to support dynamic product features and real-time operations.
  • Collaborate with front-end and full-stack developers to ensure consistent data exchange and system interoperability.
  • Collaborate with Software QA to set up and maintain testing environments that replicate real-world scenarios. Ensure that testing environments align with back-end system requirements, enabling accurate and efficient validation of functionality and performance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve backend-related issues to maintain uninterrupted system operations.
  • Document backend workflows, architecture designs, and best practices to ensure clarity and team alignment.
  • Stay updated with emerging back-end technologies and methodologies to improve system performance and security.
Requirements
  • A Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. At least 3 years of professional experience in back-end development in system design, implementation, and real-world deployment may be prioritized.
  • Strong understanding of back-end development principles, including server-side logic, database management, and API design, with a focus on real-world product deployment and operational support. Familiarity with system scalability, performance optimization, and security protocols is preferred.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including front-end developers, operations teams, and product stakeholders. Excellent problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to resolving technical and operational challenges. Strong communication skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality, reliable solutions that align with organizational goals.
