Roles & Responsibilities
  • install wiring, control systems, and lighting fixtures in homes, businesses, and other buildings.
  • inspect and maintain electrical systems to ensure they are functioning safely and efficiently.
  • diagnose and repair electrical problems, using specialized tools and knowledge to identify and fix issues.
  • ensure that all electrical work complies with local and national building codes and safety regulations.
  • read blueprints and technical diagrams to plan and execute electrical installations.
  • test electrical systems and components to ensure proper operation and safety.
  • install and connect wiring, conduits, and other electrical components.
  • install and connect electrical equipment, such as circuit breakers, transformers, and panels.
  • document their work, including repairs, modifications, and installations.
