RESPONSIBILITIES

Reporting to the Head of Teaching and Curriculum, you will design, develop and implement high-quality enrichment programmes that meet the learning needs of children. You will also be expected to take on teaching duties.

Job Role & Responsibilities

Teaching:

  • Deliver engaging and interactive STEM enrichment lessons tailored for preschool children.
  • Utilize Class Dojo application to provide regular updates and insights to parents after each lesson.
  • Monitor and meticulously document students' progress and performance, providing constructive feedback where necessary.
  • Maintain open communication with parents, keeping them informed about their children's progress and achievements in class.

Operations:

  • Collaborate in curriculum planning and development for new programs.
  • Oversee the smooth running of daily operations by liaising with a team of part time teachers to assign teaching schedules, lead teacher training sessions and provide mentorship where necessary.
  • Prepare and procure materials and resources required for lessons and ensure that resources are ready for teachers before the lessons. This includes, but is not limited to, printing of lesson journals, arranging courier schedules for delivery and pickup of items to be sent to schools, preparation of children's craft materials.
  • Play a pivotal role in the strategic and operational advancement of the business unit.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • At least one year of relevant teaching experience, specifically with children aged 3 to 6 years old.
  • Flexible and able to manage change and ambiguity well.
  • Collaborator with excellent communication skills.
  • Meticulous and organized.
  • Effective classroom management abilities are essential.
  • Passion for education, particularly with preschool-aged children, and enthusiastic about STEM subjects.
  • Experience in curriculum writing is highly desirable.
