EDDC now has an opening and is seeking torecruit a highly motivated Scientist/ Senior Scientist in theOncology Discovery team. The successful candidate will participateand support inter-disciplinary drug discovery projects. This is anexciting opportunity to be a part of the team working on thediscovery of novel therapeutics and engaging in preclinical drugdevelopment from target exploration to drug candidateselection.

Principle Roles &Responsibilities:
  • Develop and perform biochemical, biophysical and cellularassays including Western blotting, ELISA, HTRF, flow cytometry,internalization, ADCC and cell viability assays for targetvalidation and functional characterization of biologics andantibody-drug conjugates.
  • Perform molecularcloning, stable cell-line generation, CRISPR/Cas9 genome editing,siRNA/shRNA knockdown and qPCR.
  • Analyze andpresent experimental data in a clear and concise manner,demonstrating a good understanding of its utilization andimplications in the context of drug discovery.
  • Support laboratory housekeeping, safety check, SOPwriting and other administrative and compliance-relatedprocesses.

Requirements:
  • Degree or postgraduate degree in biology, biochemistry,biomedical sciences or related disciplines.
  • Minimum 3 years of working experience.
  • Proficient in designing and conducting qPCR, flowcytometry, internalization, ADCC and cell viability assays, andperforming data analysis using FlowJo and GraphPadPRISM.
  • Experience in establishinghigh-throughput screening assays with the aim of identifying hitsand lead molecules.
  • Attention to detail,strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks, deliverresults within timelines.
  • Good written andoral communication skills, with meticulousrecord-keeping.
  • Possess strong interpersonaland collaborative spirit.
