Job Summary:

· We are seeking a highly skilled Storage Resident Engineer to join our team.

· The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in enterprise storage provisioning (PowerMax, PowerScale), disaster recovery (DR) solutions, and technical expertise in SRDF (Symmetrix Remote Data Facility).

· The role involves installing and building storage hardware, managing incidents and changes, and ensuring seamless storage operations.

Key Responsibilities:

· Enterprise Storage Provisioning: Perform high-level storage provisioning across large-scale enterprise environments, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.

· Disaster Recovery (DR) Management: Develop, implement, and maintain DR strategies, ensuring data availability and system resilience during outages.

· SRDF Technical Expertise: Configure, manage, and troubleshoot SRDF solutions to support data replication and business continuity.

· Hardware Installation & Build: Install, configure, and build enterprise storage hardware solutions as per business requirements.

· Incident & Change Management: Handle incident resolution and change management processes following ITIL best practices, ensuring minimal service disruption.

Internal Use

- Confidential Qualifications & Skills:

Experience:

· Minimum 5 years in enterprise storage solutions.

· Hands-on experience with SRDF and disaster recovery planning.

Technical Skills:

· Strong understanding of SAN/NAS storage systems.

· Proficiency in hardware installation and troubleshooting.

Soft Skills:

· Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

· Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Certifications:

· Relevant certifications in storage technologies (e.g., EMC) are a plus.

Education:

· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
