Teaching Intern Opportunity at ONE Intervention Centre

ONE Intervention Centre is excited to offer a rewarding teaching internship opportunity for a passionate individual interested in working with children with special needs.


About the Internship:

This internship provides valuable hands-on experience in a supportive environment. You'll work alongside our experienced teachers and gain insight into the world of special needs education.


Responsibilities:

  • Assist teachers in the development and implementation of individualized lesson plans and activities
  • Provide one-on-one support to children with special needs, fostering their learning and development
  • Observe and document children's progress and behavior to contribute to effective intervention strategies
  • Help create a nurturing and stimulating learning environment that caters to diverse needs
  • Assist with administrative tasks as needed, including preparing materials and interacting with parents

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in a relevant education program (preferred)
  • Strong interest in child development and special needs education
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
  • Patience, compassion, and a positive attitude
