Responsibilities

  • TheDirector, Digital Assets will be responsible for leading theapproach to tokens and networks across Standard chartered. Thisrole will work directly with the relevant stakeholders and managethe overall approach to tokens and networks including strategicalignment, token and network assessment and engagement with keyfoundations and consortia. This role will also work closely withthe relevant regional leads to support specific regionalinitiatives.
  • Lead the DA strategy for thetokens and networks by working with the Global Head of DA and theDigital Asset leads across regions and business lines.
  • Understand the Digital Asset priorities for tokens andnetworks prioritise in alignment the potential commercialreturn.
  • Work across business lines andfunctions to coordinate executions and assist in the establishmentof the appropriate design for the management of tokens and networksin collaborate with the DA business leads.
  • Ownership of the implementation of the Coin Assessmentframework and the operationalisation of the same.
  • Work with the Global Research team on Token and Networkthematic thought leadership.
  • Simplifycomplicated ideas into actionable, measurable pieces andcommunicate those ideas to key stakeholders to generatebuy-in
  • Drive support and collaboration forprojects at all levels (senior and junior to you) and bring otherson the DA journey.
  • Contribute to thedevelopment of tools and processes for the group such as CoinAssessment and Higher Risk Framework.
  • Collaborate with Technology and Operations functions toensure appropriate frameworks and operational infrastructure are inplace to support efficiency in the enablement of tokens andnetworks.

Our IdealCandidate
  • 8+ yearsdemonstrated market knowledge of Digital Assets, Crytpo and Web3.Fintech also considered favourably.
  • Demonstrated experience with high growth companies in theexecution of business plans and initiatives.
  • Demonstrable experience working across large groups ofcomplex stakeholders preferably including regulators.
  • Excellent Presentation and PowerPoint skills
  • Familiar with modern productivity tools, ADO, Teams,Slack, Trello, Mural, Jira, Confluence
  • Education: University graduate preferred
  • Certifications: Relevant technology or crypto/blockchaincertifications
  • Languages: Excellent spoken andwritten skillsrequired
