Roles & Responsibilities

Kerry Consulting is working closely with a local service integrator client to recruit for a Data Centre Technician (FM).

Requirements:

• Oversee building and data center facilities, including recording and reporting on BMS/EMS, fire detection and protection, chiller systems, electrical systems, etc.
• Serve as the administrator for preventative maintenance programs to ensure equipment is properly serviced and maintained.
• Maintain thorough documentation of facilities and equipment maintenance.
• Prepare monthly SLA reports detailing equipment uptime, power usage, and temperature readings.
• Respond to emergency situations and be available for 24/7 standby duty.
• Be prepared for 24/7 standby recall to provide additional manpower coverage when necessary.
• Oversee new data center projects, renovations, and maintenance of existing spaces.
• Handle site inspections and audits conducted by external authorities (e.g., HDB, LTA, NEA, FSB).
• Schedule and track servicing jobs and manage vendors on a day-to-day basis.
• Maintain high standards of customer service.
• Manage all facilities contracts.

Skill Sets:

• Broad-based knowledge and skills in building technology, mechanical and electrical services, and facilities management.
• Relevant experience in data center facility management and vendor management.
