Position Summary:

The Microsoft Dynamics 365 Functional Consultant for CRM will be responsible for understanding and analyzing client business requirements, particularly in customer relationship management, and aligning them with the capabilities of Microsoft Dynamics 365. This role involves configuring the system, ensuring successful implementation, and providing ongoing support to optimize business processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CRM processes, experience with Dynamics 365 CRM modules, and excellent communication skills to engage with business stakeholders and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Analysis & Requirement Gathering:

  • Work closely with clients to gather, document, and analyze business requirements related to customer relationship management (sales, marketing, customer service, etc.).
  • Translate business needs into functional specifications, ensuring alignment with Dynamics 365 CRM capabilities.

Solution Configuration:

  • Configure Dynamics 365 CRM applications (Sales, Customer Service, Marketing, etc.) to meet client-specific requirements.

Module Expertise:

  • Provide expertise in key CRM modules such as Sales, Customer Service, Field Service, and Marketing.
  • Advise clients on best practices for managing leads, opportunities, customer service cases, and marketing campaigns using Dynamics 365 CRM.

Testing, Training & Support:

  • Conduct functional testing to ensure the solution meets client expectations and business requirements.
  • Develop and deliver comprehensive user training sessions and documentation for end-users.
  • Provide post-implementation support to ensure smooth adoption and address any system-related issues.

Collaboration & Solution Development:

  • Collaborate with technical consultants and developers to translate functional requirements into technical solutions, ensuring integration with other systems (e.g., ERP, third-party applications).
  • Assist with data migration planning and execution from legacy CRM systems to Dynamics 365 CRM.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Stay updated on the latest features and updates within the Dynamics 365 CRM ecosystem.
  • Provide recommendations for process improvements and system enhancements to drive continuous business optimization.

Pre-Sales Support:

  • Participate in pre-sales activities, including solution demonstrations and contributing to proposal development for potential clients.
Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Functional Consultant with Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM (Sales, Customer Service, Marketing, or Field Service modules).
  • Strong understanding of CRM business processes, including sales cycle management, customer service workflows, and marketing automation.
  • Proven experience in configuring and customizing Dynamics 365 CRM solutions with minimal reliance on coding.

Skills:

  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and project management tools.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to engage both business stakeholders and technical teams.
  • Ability to work independently or collaboratively within cross-functional teams.

Certifications:

  • Microsoft certifications in Dynamics 365 CRM or related areas (e.g., Dynamics 365 Sales, Customer Service, or Marketing) are preferred.
