Are you a skilled and passionate Chef with a drive for culinary excellence? Zén, the sister restaurant to the world-renowned 3-Michelin star Frantzén in Stockholm, is looking for a Senior Chef De Partie to join our dynamic team in Singapore.

At Zén, we bring together the finest local and international ingredients to craft a remarkable gastronomic journey across three beautifully designed floors in a historic shophouse in downtown Singapore. Our carefully curated tasting menu reflects the artistry and innovation of world-class cuisine, ensuring an unforgettable experience for every guest.

What We’re Looking For:

We seek a motivated and talented Senior Chef De Partie who is eager to contribute to a Michelin-starred kitchen. If you are passionate about food and leadership, this is the opportunity for you.

  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year in a relevant kitchen position or equivalent. Michelin star experience is a plus but not essential.
  • Leadership: Strong kitchen and staff management skills with the ability to inspire and mentor junior chefs.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Sous Chef to plan and direct food preparation.
  • Quality Focused: Maintain the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and guest satisfaction.
  • Communication: Fluent in spoken and written English with the ability to communicate effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Team Player: Ability to work harmoniously as part of a team, fostering a positive and professional work culture.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and mentor junior chefs and interns, helping them develop their culinary skills.
  • Oversee the production, preparation, and presentation of food to ensure it meets our high standards.
  • Manage food costs, quality, and operations while maintaining impeccable guest satisfaction levels.
  • Ensure the kitchen adheres to all food safety and sanitation procedures, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Maintain effective communication between all kitchen staff, promoting a collaborative and friendly environment.
  • Adhere to the highest hygiene standards and safety protocols.
  • Assist in managing daily kitchen operations and report any issues promptly to senior staff.
  • Uphold quality control to ensure the consistency and excellence of dishes.
