Roles & Responsibilities

Based in Singapore, Barclyne College International has been grooming students for success since 1995 by priming students with an effective academic foundation that is enriched with real-world skills and values to prepare our graduates for their next journey in life.

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join our academic team. The ideal candidate should be well-versed in teaching AEIS, O-Level, and A-Level English and have a strong understanding of Singapore's educational system. This role is open to experienced educators, including ex-MOE teachers, as well as fresh graduates eager to build a teaching career.

Key Responsibilities:

· Plan, develop, and deliver engaging English lessons for AEIS, O-Level, and A-Level students.

· Assess students' progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance learning outcomes.

· Develop customized teaching materials and lesson plans based on students' needs.

· Conduct periodic assessments and mock exams to track academic performance.

· Provide academic guidance and support to help students achieve their learning goals.

· Stay updated with MOE syllabus changes and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.

· Foster a positive and motivating learning environment.

· Communicate with parents/guardians to provide feedback on student progress.

Requirements:

· Minimum Bachelor's degree in Education, English, or a related field.

· At least 3 years of teaching experience, preferably in AEIS, O-Level, and A-Level English.

· Former MOE teachers are highly encouraged to apply.

· Fresh graduates with a strong passion for teaching may also be considered.

· Familiarity with the Singapore MOE syllabus and examination formats.

· Strong command of the English language, both written and spoken.

· Excellent classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills.

· Passionate about education and dedicated to student success.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Experience in curriculum development and lesson planning.

· Ability to conduct online and in-person lessons effectively.

· Bilingual in English and Mandarin to communicate students' progress with their parents.
