CCDSand NBS are looking for a joint appointee with the necessaryexperience and knowledge in FinTech. The appointee should have adeep understanding of the business models in the FinTech ecosystemand emerging trends, and must demonstrate technical expertise inthe core concepts, such as blockchain technology, artificialintelligence, data analytics,etc.

Responsibilities
  • Designand deliver high quality courses in FinTech that include bothundergraduate and postgraduate levels in both CCDS andNBS.
  • Contribute to curriculum development andenhancement to ensure students receive world class teachingeducation.
  • Provide academic guidance andmentorship to students, fostering their intellectual andprofessional growth.
  • Contribute to the Schooland university's service activities, including committeeparticipation, outreach and engagement with industrypartners.
  • Facilitates and conducts all teachingassignments, both face-to-face and virtualdelivery.
  • Oversee and complete core courseadministrative tasks or duties such as course evaluation, onlinecourse materials, attendance records, academic counselling onstudent progress.
  • Conducts assessments, markingand grade entries, feedback to students, student consultations,non-academic matters (e.g., invigilation)etc.
  • Develops and updates course materials andlearning resources for course delivery and support students'learning.
  • Provides regular course and studentprogress statistics for reporting, improvement of students'learning and strategic decisionmaking.
  • Demonstrates values and principles ofprofessional conduct in all endeavours.
  • Conductimpactful research in areas related to FinTech and collaborate withcolleagues within the department and across theUuniversity
  • Promote and Facilitatecollaboration between NBS and SCSE.
  • Any otherassignedduties


Requirements
  • Applicantsshould preferably have industry and/or academic experience, apassion for teaching and possess a Master's degree or PhD inrelated field.
  • Candidates should demonstrateteaching/mentoring excellence and be able to engage in curriculumdevelopment and work closely with students for undergraduatecourses.
