JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

This is a full-time on-site role as a Clinic Assistant. The role involves daily tasks such as communication with patients, receptionist duties, customer service, knowledge of medical terminology and patient care.

  • Registration of patients including but not limited to checking of Insurance eligibility, name, NRIC, contact no, address, drug allergies, patient’s declaration and temperature.
  • Assisting doctors to chaperone, during procedures and ensuring equipment are sterile/ready for use.
  • Preparation, replenishment, checking and dispensing of medications.
  • Replenishment of medications and consumables as required.
  • Collection of payment including but not limited to submission of Insurance claims.
  • Attending to phone calls, scheduling, appointment, reminders, and medication follow-up.
  • Handling administration and documentation of referrals, lab tests, and radiology services from various vendors.
  • Checking orders against invoices for all deliveries.
  • Other duties assigned by Group Clinic Manager from time to time.
  • Service oriented with excellent telecommunication and interpersonal skills.
  • Initiative, self-motivated, Teamwork and result oriented.
  • Able to work both independently as well as a good team player.
  • Need to be adequately IT savvy.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Professional Certificate/NiTEC, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma
  • Preferably able to speak Mandarin to effectively communicate with a significant number of our Mandarin-speaking patients.
