Responsibilities and Requirements for Prospective English Teaching Tutors (POLY or University Graduates in English Language, Linguistics, and English Majors)

Responsibilities during probation period:

-Shadowing experienced teachers to observe classroom dynamics, instructional techniques, and student interactions before becoming an independent classroom tutor.

-Assisting in lesson planning and curriculum development under the guidance of senior educators till full understanding of curriculum structures.

-Delivering portions of lessons and activities to gradually gain teaching experience and confidence.

-Providing one-on-one support to students, addressing their learning needs, and fostering academic growth.

- Collaborate with senior educators to design and execute engaging English language lessons tailored to students' proficiency levels and learning objectives.

- Assist in the development and implementation of innovative teaching methodologies and curriculum enhancements to optimize student learning outcomes.

- Support students in improving their English language skills across various areas, including grammar, vocabulary, transformation, cloze passages, comprehension, writing and oral.

- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment conducive to student engagement, participation, and academic growth.

- Provide constructive feedback and guidance to students to help them overcome language barriers and achieve their academic goals effectively.


Probation period [1-3 months]

- During probation, candidates will be paid at $30 per hour rate. Upon confirmation of classes, days, timings, tutors will be offered a profit-sharing rate basis.


Requirements:

To be considered for this job opportunity, candidates should meet the following criteria:

- Hold a diploma or university degree in English language, linguistics, English literature, or a related field, demonstrating a strong academic background in English studies.

- Possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a keen ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and effectively.

- Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish rapport with students from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.

- Exhibit creativity, adaptability, and problem-solving skills to address the individual learning needs and challenges of students effectively.

- Show a high level of professionalism, responsibility, and reliability in fulfilling teaching duties and responsibilities.

- Able to work on weekends.

- Dedicated, passionate educators who want to grow with our company on a long-term basis.
