Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Project Manager in overseeing daily construction activities to ensure project progress and quality objectives are met.
  • Ensure all work complies with safety and environmental regulations.
  • Ensure adherence to QA/QC requirements for all tasks.
  • Provide clear instructions to subcontractors to ensure installations align with approved construction drawings.
  • Address construction challenges, safety risks, and other technical issues.
  • Develop installation sequences and micro schedules for façade elements based on construction drawings.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors regarding site installation and quality issues.
  • Monitor and update the daily project/site progress report.
  • Maintain accurate records of site inspection reports, material deliveries, and site activities.
  • Arrange and coordinate site testing and inspections with vendors and RTO/RE.
  • Manage and plan the delivery of site materials and equipment to optimize resource use.
  • Coordinate site storage space with the Main Contractor.
  • Assist the Project Manager with the timely submission of material samples and mock-ups for approval.
  • Check the condition of RC structures against construction drawings and report any discrepancies found on site.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Project Manager.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Ability to support tendering activities.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar role with extensive knowledge of steel, glass, and building envelopes.
