Trainers (Phonics / Primary School) - Part-Time

We are looking for:
(In order of Urgency)
- Phonics teachers. (Part-Time)
- English Language Teachers (Primary, Part-time)
- Math Teachers (Primary, Part-time)
- Drama Trainers (Primary and Pre-school)
Responsibilities (Teachers):
- Deliver engaging and interesting lessons.
- Employ interesting teaching methods to engage students and retain their attention spans.
- Nurture students to be self-directed learners and instill values at valuable teachable moments.
- Improve children’s grades, showing tangible improvement.
- Conduct assessments, record (online) and track their academic progress
- Be a positive and nurturing teacher whose lessons students look forward to coming to.
Requirements:
- Positions 1: Trained Phonics or Pre-school teacher (not child-care). Able to work weekdays 4pm onwards and/or weekends mornings
- Positions 2 and 5: Trained Teacher with NIE or Teaching Degree/Diploma only. Familiar with MOE syllabus.
- Able to work on at least 3 evenings, including at least 1 weekend (Sat / Sun), preferably both.
- Punctual and responsible
- Articulate and creative
- Patient and Caring
- Experienced in a group tuition setting
- Able to use your own laptop or tablet
Position 4:
- Drama trained with relevant Drama qualifications.
All Positions:
- A caring personality and articulate.
- Passionate about teaching and nurturing children.
- At least 2 years of experience in teaching children is a must.
- Be punctual for all lessons.
- Familiar with IT must use own PC, or at least receptive to using ICT to enhance lessons. Materials and training will be provided.
- We can only employ Singaporeans.
- Committment is for at least 1 Semester, or throughout the school year. Lessons are once a week, possible to have multiple tuition assignments (group tuition).
