Roles & Responsibilities

Connect Energy is looking for a CHEMICAL FIELD ENGINEER to work for our client's site in Jurong Island for a year contract.


Responsibilities

  • To conduct field evaluation of new products and equipment, installing test systems, recording data and training customer personnel in the use of the products.
  • Provide on-site field service and on site assistance towards troubleshooting and value added services
  • Provide technical support services to design, construct and install new chemical feed equipment for use at customer sites
  • Coordinating the installation of new equipment with outside contractors when required
  • Establishing maintenance schedules and repair procedures and communicating this information to customers and sales/service personnel.
  • Troubleshooting and repairing equipment used in the application of various products at customer plants.

Requirements

  • Degree in Chemical Engineering
  • Min. 5 years in oilfield chemical & onshore operation
  • Have good product line knowledge in addition to meeting the competency requirements for downstream chemicals
  • Have thorough understanding of productions, onshore process and production chemical application and production chemistry related.
  • Have ability to work and communicate and mix well with people especially within customer's community.
  • Good computer skills and experience with MS Office applications
  • Have good interpersonal skills and ability to work under pressure in onshore environment.
  • Willing to work in Jurong Island.
  • Willing to take on 12 months contract with possible conversion to perm.
