Roles & Responsibilities

  • Assist PT to prepare resident before, during and at the conclusion of treatment
  • Prepare and set up therapy equipment for resident’s use
  • Lifting and transferring of residents for therapy session
  • Conduct gait training and adjustment of height of walking aid under the supervision of the PT
  • Supervise and conduct prescribed exercises or therapy activities as instructed by PT
  • Supervise or monitor resident during exercise or electrotherapy treatments
  • Ensure safety of residents and observe safety procedures at all times
  • Assisting residents to the toilets
  • Assist in communication or translation to resident

Secondary 4

Working Hours

44 working hours per week working, 6 days per week, on shift. (1 days off per week according to roster)

Shift duty according to the nursing roster
