Job Summary:

We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Chef cum Barista. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating delicious, simple meals and beverages, and providing excellent customer service. This dual role requires a versatile individual who can handle both kitchen duties and coffee-making tasks with equal proficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Chef:

•Prepare and cook a variety of simple, high-quality dishes such as sandwiches, salads, soups, and breakfast items.

•Ensure all food is prepared fresh and to the highest standards of hygiene and safety.

•Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to all health and safety regulations.

•Manage inventory, including ordering and receiving supplies as needed.

•Collaborate with the cafe manager to plan and create seasonal menus.

As a Barista:

•Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks.

•Operate and maintain coffee-making equipment, ensuring it is clean and functioning properly.

•Provide excellent customer service, taking orders, and handling transactions efficiently.

•Maintain cleanliness of the barista station and dining area.

•Educate customers on our menu offerings and answer any questions they may have.

Qualifications:

•Previous experience as a chef or cook, preferably in a cafe or similar environment.

•Barista experience, with knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and equipment.

•Strong multitasking skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

•Excellent communication and customer service skills.

•A passion for food and beverage, with a creative flair for menu development.

Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
