Roles & Responsibilities

Job Scope

Lead and represent the engineering excellence team to promote and initiate new and enhance existing collaborations on engineering excellence standards, programmes, activities and events with local and overseas partners

Work with local and foreign stakeholders to drive engineering excellence initiatives through innovation oriented business and employee culture, value creation, deepening technical skills and integration of project management

Oversee the conceptualisation, planning, implementation and management of assigned engineering excellence projects from initiation to completion

Monitor and review the list of memorandum of understanding signed by organisation with local and international partners yearly as part of strategic work plan.

Responsible for the engineering excellence team’s budgets and performance in developing and achieving agreed goals and deliverables, and continuous improvement review on standards, partnership, activities, events and programmes

Lead the team to initiate and build new contacts for the various programmes and initiatives by the various committees and ensure timely submission of project proposals, reports, marketing materials, meeting notes and other related documents

Ensure timely marketing and communication of engineering excellence activities progress and updates with both internal and external stakeholders

Oversee secretarial support to the various technical committee and working groups, outreach committees and implementation of outreach activities and programmes to support the adoption of Standards and Technical References.

Qualifications and Experience

Minimum 5 years’ experience in senior management position preferably related to engineering excellence and/or working with national tripartite agencies

Strong interpersonal, negotiation and presentation skills collaborating with internal and external stakeholders

Good qualifications and training in engineering, events and project management

Salary Range: $6,000 to $8,000
