Marketing Intern – Pet Accessories and Dog Boarding/Daycare

Job Summary:

As a Marketing Intern, you will play a crucial role in supporting the marketing efforts for our two key areas – pet accessories and dog boarding/daycare. This internship provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, customer-centric industry.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Social Media Management:

– Assist in creating and scheduling engaging content for our social media platforms.

– Monitor and respond to customer inquiries and comments on social media.

2. Content Creation:

– Contribute to the development of creative and compelling content for marketing materials, blog posts, and newsletters.

– Collaborate with the team to showcase our products and services effectively.

3. Event Support:

– Aid in the planning and execution of promotional events, both online and offline.

– Represent the company at events to promote brand awareness.

4. Market Research:

– Conduct research on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.

– Provide insights and recommendations to improve marketing strategies.

5. Email Marketing:

– Assist in the creation and execution of email marketing campaigns to drive customer engagement.

– Analyze campaign performance and propose optimizations.

6. Collaboration with Stakeholders:

– Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment in marketing strategies.

– Support any ad-hoc marketing initiatives and projects.

Qualifications:

– Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.

– Passion for pets and understanding of the pet industry.

– Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

– Proficient in social media platforms and Microsoft Office.

– Creative mindset with a keen eye for design.

Duration:

This is a 6-month internship position, with the possibility of extension or conversion to a full-time role based on performance.
