Job Role: Cyber Security Engineer Specialist

  • Exciting opportunity to join the Cyber Security Team in Singapore

Main Responsibilities

  • Assist in designing, implementing, and maintaining a robust Zero Trust architecture and framework with a focus on endpoint security
  • Support the creation and upkeep of a comprehensive Zero Trust architecture and framework, integrating endpoint security solutions for enhanced security
  • Collaborate with diverse teams to embed Zero Trust principles and endpoint security solutions across various infrastructure components, systems, and applications
  • Aid in the setup and configuration of endpoint security tools to ensure effective monitoring and response capabilities
  • Stay informed about the latest trends in Zero Trust, endpoint security, and related technologies to assess their relevance to the organization
  • Work with external partners and internal stakeholders to assess, implement, and manage endpoint security solutions
  • Provide guidance to IT and security teams for the successful deployment and operation of Zero Trust principles and endpoint security solutions
  • Contribute to documenting the Zero Trust architecture and endpoint security processes

Minimum Education Requirement:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or equivalent

Desired Experience and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field
  • Understanding of Zero Trust principles, methodologies, and technologies, as well as basic knowledge of endpoint security solutions
  • Familiarity with endpoint security tools and technologies, such as antivirus/anti-malware solutions, EDR, DLP, vulnerability management, and secure configuration management
  • Basic grasp of network security concepts, protocols, and technologies
  • Demonstrated interest or experience in endpoint security through coursework, projects, or internships
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to quickly grasp and apply new concepts
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills, with a proven ability to work well in a team environment
  • Relevant certifications like CompTIA Security+, Certified Endpoint Security Associate (CESA), or similar certifications are advantageous
