Job Purpose:

Seeking Regional CFO for Impact - Driving Financial Excellence in High-Volume, Higher Value Technology Ecosystem and Cross-Cultural Regional Landscape. Join our Asia Executive Board, Reporting to Global CFO and President APJ. Shape the Finance Organization and Operations in a Dynamic Region of a global Fortune #100 Organization

Responsibilities:
  • Develops and directs the execution of APJ financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes by teaming with the region leader to oversee the budgeting and planning processes; monitor and communicate progress towards achievement of financial objectives; obtain executive approval of the annual budget and long-term plan; establish and oversee the execution of monthly profit and loss (P&L) reviews; and identify trends driving positive and negative variances to budget plan.
  • Utilize financial information to drive insights for key business decisions. This includes guiding the team as they produce detailed financial models incorporating company and competitive analysis and identifying and mitigating risks to business plans.
  • Directs the development of systems and processes to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of financial planning and analysis by creating and maintaining the planning framework; ensuring timelines and deliverables are attained; creating and maintaining tools and reporting materials (for example, financial forecasting, presentations, business metrics) used to measure and track results against expectations; and partnering with information systems to access systemic data and build reporting.
  • Oversees performance management activities for the organization by leading the team that builds and communicates performance metrics (for example, sales analysis, gross margin reports,) allowing business partners to understand the efficiency and effectiveness of operations; monitoring metrics on a regular basis; ensuring business leaders are reacting to exceptions or trends; and escalating significant financial risks.
  • CFO plays a critical role in driving the financial health and success of the TDSYNNEX APJ by providing leadership and guidance on financial matters.
  • Strategic Decision-Making: Providing financial insights and Analysis to support strategic business decisions and investments.
  • Financial Planning: Developing financial strategies, forecasts, and budgets to support TDSYNNEX and APJ objectives.
  • Financial Reporting: Preparing and presenting accurate financial reports to President, Global CFO and other Senior Management, stakeholders, regulatory authorities.
  • Ability to attract and maintain a highly skilled and engaged team by diagnosing capability gaps; recruiting, selecting, and developing talent; supporting mentorship, workforce development, and succession planning; and leveraging the capabilities of new and existing talent.
  • Cultivates an environment of empowerment and accountability.
  • Develops and leverages internal and external partnerships and networks to maximize the achievement of business, engaging key stakeholders.
  • Continue the high-level control environment and enhance collaboration with corporate accounting and internal accounting groups.
  • Collaborate with Corporate Treasury to ensure cash flow management, investments, banking relationships and overall working capital requirements are optimized.
  • Partner with Corporate Tax to identify risks and opportunities that benefit and support global tax strategies.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
  • >10 to 15 Years of relevant work experience
  • >8 to 10 Years of experience directly managing / supervising employees.
  • Required Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
  • Knowledge of forecasting, budgeting, investment analysis and strategic planning concepts
  • Experience in creating and managing multi-year investment cases.
  • Judgment: Make sound financial judgements, assist the region in producing sound financial results for our shareholders; the ability to push back in a constructive way garnering the respect of the business.
