WHAT YOU WILL DO

Key responsibilities include:

Routine tasks

  • Offer engineering and troubleshooting support to enhance operational efficiencies and reduce maintenance costs.
  • Guide technicians on resolving technical issues.
  • Provide engineering assistance for both corrective and preventive maintenance.
  • Support installation, modification, and maintenance of equipment instruments following site procedures.
  • Analyze data to suggest enhancements for equipment reliability and failure reduction.
  • Enhance maintenance programs for plant assets. Review and adjust preventive maintenance for improved equipment reliability.
  • Ensure smooth equipment operations by monitoring equipment condition closely. Conduct Root Cause Analysis to enhance product quality and equipment reliability.
  • Prepare Annual Trend Analysis Reports, maintaining the equipment reliability database.
  • Perform maintenance tasks and analyze reliability data to boost equipment health and performance.

Project responsibilities

  • Oversee maintenance-related projects, CAPA Actions, scheduling, costs, and quality with proper controls.
  • Ensure project deliverables are met and establish all necessary documentation.
  • Provide engineering support for scoping, development, execution, and documentation of upgrade projects.

Additional tasks

  • Execute assignments from Supervisors related to equipment, instruments, documentation, or housekeeping.
  • Develop technical procedures linked to assigned responsibilities
  • Engage in HSE, Business Compliance, cGMP, and other compliance matters as needed.
  • Supervise Third-Party Contractors as required
  • Influence stakeholders and business leaders to build trust across the organization.
  • Perform any other duties delegated by Managers.

WHAT YOU MUST HAVE

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • Degree in Electrical/Electronics, Instrumentation and Control, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering
  • 3 - 5 years of relevant experience in maintenance, preferably in an API manufacturing setting
  • Thorough understanding of cGMP and safety regulations in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Familiarity with Engineering and Compliance standards
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to provide practical solutions.
  • Capability to assess situations and escalate when necessary
  • Proficiency in root cause analysis and decision-making based on various information sources
  • Independent work capability
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP
  • Good understanding of Failure Modes of Equipment Reliability Processes
