You'll be responsible for various laboratory operations related to wastewater surveillance. This includes processing samples, managing quality, ensuring biosafety protocols, and handling procurement tasks.

Location: Buona Vista/Orchard, Contract Duration: 6 months, Salary: Up to $3,500 , Working hours: Mon-Fri (8.30am-6pm)

Requirements:

  • A diploma or degree in Life Sciences, Environmental Sciences, Microbiology, or a related field, with ideally three years of experience in laboratory testing or research.
  • Proficiency in managing contracts, procurement, inventory, and data to ensure smooth operations.
  • Experience working in using aseptic microbiological techniques.
  • Familiarity with molecular diagnostics techniques like qRT-PCR, data analysis, quality control.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, meeting strict timelines and handling urgent tasks.
  • Strong analytical skills, and the capacity to multitask and collaborate effectively in a team.
  • Availability to work beyond regular office hours and weekends if necessary.
