The Specialist Compliance Partner will collaborate with stakeholders as a trusted advisor in the Japan, China, Asia Pacific (JCAP) region offering consulting services and guidance in SDLC and IT Control framework. This position reports to the JCAP ITRMS GRC Lead.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Engage with IT professionals and offer guidance in SDLC, Technology Risk Profile, Digital SDLC, and IT Control framework
  • Act as the main contact for IT Compliance and counsel project teams on SDLC customization/risk-based implementation strategy
  • Interpret IT Controls (based on current regulatory requirements) and assist IT professionals
  • Assist in strategic initiatives that may involve establishing processes and compliance artifacts to enhance operational efficiency
  • Organize and conduct training sessions for knowledge sharing and adoption of SDLC principles
  • Ensure compliance with established policies/procedures within the IT organization
  • Develop new or updated guidelines and promote consistent, standardized approaches across the IT department
  • Support audit and inspection readiness efforts
  • Assist the Senior Specialist Compliance Partner in all functional aspects

WHAT YOU MUST HAVE

To excel in this role, you should possess:

  • Bachelor's Degree is a must
  • Specialization in Information Technology or a related field is desirable
  • The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in information security, risk and compliance, system validation, or quality assurance
  • Demonstrated skill in building and maintaining collaborative relationships with stakeholders
  • A clear grasp of the principles, procedures, and governance of validation activities in IT controls and system development life cycle
  • Understanding of emerging technologies in the IT sector, such as AI, cloud, mobility, social media, data science, and analytics platforms
