A&M Tax Team

The A&M Tax team is an independent group of experienced tax professionals dedicated to providing customized tax advice to clients and investors across a broad range of industries. Its professionals extend A&Ms commitment to offering clients a choice in advisors who are free from audit-based conflicts of interest and bring an unyielding commitment to delivering responsive client service. A&M Tax has offices in major metropolitan markets throughout Asia, Australia, EMEA, and the U.S.

The Southeast Asia Tax team is now looking for high performing and motivated professionals to join our fast-growing tax team in Singapore.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with various tax advisory assignments, including but not limited to legal entity and operational restructuring, tax incentive assessment and application, fund structuring advice, etc.
  • Assist with Singapore corporate tax compliance, including but not limited to, liaising with clients for information required, preparation / review of estimated chargeable income, preparation / review of tax computations, preparation and submission of tax returns as well as handling queries from the IRAS.
  • Assist with tax due diligence projects, helping to identify key tax risks and potential deal breakers, and assist with tax structuring for the potential transaction in the context of clients investment strategy.
  • Assist in various thought leadership publications relating to tax updates and various marketing campaigns to amplify the A&M brand, particularly in Southeast Asia.

Qualifications

  • Fresh graduate are welcome to apply
  • Degree or Postgraduate degree in Accountancy and/or related major
  • Minimum 2-4 years' experience in corporate tax compliance and/or tax advisory space.
  • Fluent in English; additional language proficiency such as Mandarin / Bahasa will be an advantage.
  • Strong technical knowledge of Singapore corporate income tax laws. Familiarity and practice experience in a Big Four accounting firm and / or other key ASEAN countries taxation will be an advantage.
