A Java Developer (12-month extendable contract) job has just become available at one of the global banks in Singapore.

About the Java Developer (12-month extendable contract) Role:
In this role, you will be developing and maintaining the International Back Office Cash Management System.

Key Responsibilities: Study, evaluate, understand and provide feedback on functional specifications Develop solutions following defined standards and high quality Provide detailed estimation for development of solutions Implement solutions using TDD, BDD approaches Perform non-functional testing Perform design and code review for other team members Prepare documentation for design and implementation Enable and support functional and user acceptance testing Support applications in production - analyse and resolve issues as they arise To succeed in this role as a Java Developer (12-month extendable contract), you must have a minimum of five years of experience in Java, Apache Spark, Kafka, Hadoop.

Key Requirements: Able to design solutions using proven patterns, performance tuning Devops/release management/production support skills are strongly preferred Programming skills - Java/J2EE, Spring, Spring MVC/Angular JS, ELK Stack Relational databases - Oracle 12c /19c No SQL DB - Cassandra, HBASE Build tool - Maven/Ant, UML, Restful web services, Jenkins Source management -GIT, GITLab, TDD using Junit, Cucumber, Jira/QC Knowledge in IBM MQ is required Good to have: Knowledge of Apache Spark programming, Apache Kafka, and Hadoop management tools Understanding of corporate banking and cash management domain This is an excellent opportunity to advance your career with a one of the largest global banks.
