Exciting Opportunity:

This position entails supporting the energy sustainability initiative at the site and implementing effective energy management practices to enhance energy efficiency and minimize environmental impact. The program aligns with global energy conservation standards and the Singapore Energy Act. You will play a crucial role in identifying and implementing energy efficiency enhancements.

Key Responsibilities:

Cost Transformation and Energy Management

  • Lead the utilities cost transformation program, overseeing project execution, risk assessment, and reporting to governance committees
  • Drive the site's energy efficiency program in alignment with global standards, analyze opportunities, and implement improvement projects
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure consistent energy conservation practices and raise awareness throughout the site
  • Manage the energy monitoring system for optimal efficiency
  • Conduct energy audits, recommend solutions, and promote energy efficiency across the organization
  • Monitor key performance indicators and take necessary actions to meet objectives

Engineering Services Support

  • Coordinate with process engineering teams on design and validation activities
  • Assist the Energy Lead - Engineering in forecasting and executing activities to meet production targets
  • Undertake additional tasks as assigned by the Energy Lead

Maintenance, Utilities & Facilities Management

  • Support energy efficiency programs, analyze data, and propose solutions to reduce wastage
  • Work with maintenance and utilities managers to ensure high equipment energy efficiency
  • Monitor utility budgets and track energy conservation projects
  • Oversee energy projects with minimal impact on operations
  • Ensure timely and compliant project completion

Technical Competencies

  • Knowledge in Energy Conservation Technologies and Energy Savings Programs
  • Understanding of engineering principles and budgeting
  • Planning and implementation of engineering activities
  • Risk-based decision-making
  • Application of Lean Six Sigma and change management tools

Safety, Health, and Environmental (SHE)

  • Promote safety behaviors and enhance SHE standards
  • Strive for an injury-free workplace and environmentally friendly practices

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent
  • Positive attitude, teamwork, and willingness to learn
