Our DevOps engineering squad is a team that focuses on platform, infrastructure and developer experience within the SEA Technology organisation. Their core responsibilities are to ensure our services run in a secure, scalable and developer-friendly environment.
As a DevOps engineer within this squad you will be working on our infrastructure automation, developer tooling and monitoring ecosystem.
You will shine here if you enjoy...Design, implement and maintain infrastructure automation (Terraform) modules used as building blocks for our infrastructure platform that runs the Sephora services and applicationsEncourage a shared responsibility model for DevOps, where the DevOps squad provides tooling and best practices, but the ultimate responsibility of application stability lies with the respective engineering teamsReview and provide advice to other engineering teams on security best-practices for the software that we build and runDrive for great monitoring and alerting coverage across our ecosystem, and provide guidance and help where requiredProvide support during our high-traffic sales events
We would love to hear from you if you have...Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field or comparable duration of professional experienceMinimum 2 years' experience as a, infrastructure automation engineer or DevOps engineer, software engineer experience with devops is a plus.Strong understanding of Cloud Computing such as AWS. Ability to contribute in defining and designing good cloud architect. Hands-on experience with Core AWS resources.Strong understanding and hands on experience in writing complex terraform code to cater the Infrastructure Automation.Strong understanding of Docker fundamentals.Good software engineering fundamentals and familiarity with a number of programming languages.Strong communicator and able to work with distributed remote teamsExperience managing Kubernetes clusters preferred but not a mustExperience with CI/CD tooling like CircleCI, GitHub Actions or equivalentExperience with monitoring tools like NewRelic, CloudWatch, Datadog or equivalent.
