We are searching for a highly skilled CFO to become part of our team's senior leadership crew.

Client Details

We are a well-established business listed in SGX with a remarkable track record in our industry. Our operations span across APAC in varied sectors. As part of our succession strategy, we are currently seeking a Group CFO to join our senior leadership team and steer the continuous prosperity of our enterprise.

Description

Strategic and Financial Planning & Analysis

  • Work closely with the CEO and other leaders to define the company's strategic path.
  • Assess and handle mergers, acquisitions, and major business transactions.
  • Spot opportunities for cost reduction and revenue growth.
  • Create and manage short-term and long-term budgets that align with the revitalization plan.
  • Regularly assess financial performance against revitalization targets and offer actionable insights to the leadership team.
  • Generate financial projections to guide strategic decisions and monitor progress against revitalization milestones.

Financial Reporting and Compliance

  • Ensure timely and accurate preparation and submission of financial reports following relevant accounting standards.
  • Maintain adherence to all regulatory obligations, including those stipulated by stock exchanges and securities regulators.
  • Supervise internal and external audits and implement suggestions.
  • Identify financial risks and devise strategies to safeguard the company's assets and reputation.

Restructuring and Treasury Management

  • Recognize and execute cost-saving initiatives company-wide.
  • Collaborate with department heads to streamline operations, eliminate inefficiencies, and enhance productivity.
  • Develop a comprehensive financial revitalization plan, encompassing cost-saving actions, asset disposals, and restructuring endeavors.
  • Negotiate with lenders and creditors to reorganize existing debt and secure favorable conditions.
  • Supervise cash flow, including liquidity and working capital needs.
  • Explore and secure new financial options, including equity investment, to support the revitalization scheme.
  • Cultivate and sustain relationships with banks, investors, and other financial entities.

Leadership and Team Management

  • Guide and mentor the finance team, nurturing a culture of responsibility and high achievement.
  • Maintain transparent and open communication with stakeholders, including the board, investors, creditors, and staff.
  • Propel change management projects to align the organization with the revitalization aims.

Profile

A Finance and Accounting Bachelor's degree, CPA/CA certification. You must have occupied a finance leadership role recently, with a foundation in an accounting firm. Experience in business transformation roles within SGX-listed organizations is highly valuable. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for effective engagement with internal and external partners. You should demonstrate a proven capacity to devise and implement financial strategies in harmony with the company's overarching business goals.
