- Possible progressions: Specialist Promotion to Barista –> Senior Barista –> Head Barista, OR
- Possible progressions: Specialist Promotion to Bartender –> Senior Bartender –> Head Bartender, OR
- Possible progressions: Traditional Promotion to Captain –> Supervisor –> Assistant Restaurant Manager –> Restaurant Manager –> F&B Operations Manager
Role of Service Crew / Service Attendant / Waiter / Waitress / Captain:
- Cordially greet and welcome customers to the café / bistro
- Acquire thorough product knowledge and familiarity with all menu items offered in the café / bistro
- Confidently introduce the menu and suggest / recommend various food & beverage options to customers
- Enter orders using the point-of-sale (POS) system and accurately deliver orders to tables
- Assist in clearing and setting tables following hygiene standards and guidelines
- Maintain a high level of cleanliness at the service station
- Perform any additional assigned tasks by management related to service and upkeep of the café / bistro
Skills and Abilities:
- Able to deliver outstanding customer service with a positive mindset
- Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Work effectively under pressure in a dynamic environment
- Collaborate seamlessly with team members as part of a cohesive team
- Available to work on weekends and public holidays (5-day schedule)
