Warehouse Tally Co-ordinator

  • Responsible for documentation of commodity delivery of all customer's commodities.
  • Ensure all commodities leaving the warehouse are properly accounted for.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of all trucks on arrival at the warehouse; ensure that trucks are properly covered with tarpaulins and there are no unauthorized or other commodities
  • Report any shortages, damages or excess to the warehouse Executive / Manager and reflect such discrepancies in the releasing documents
  • Record all quantities for delivery that are short and/or quantities damaged if any
  • Ensure all documents for commodity dispatch have been correctly and completely filled
  • Ensure all trucks to be loaded are road worthy before commencing loading and that the trucks are properly covered with tarpaulins before leaving the warehouse
  • Complete and hand over the approved commodity delivery documents to the driver before the truck leaves the warehouse
  • Notify distribution about the particulars of the truck, driver and consignment loaded as soon as the truck leaves the warehouse
  • Ensure warehouse loading bays is clean and free from debris, vegetation, pest activity
  • Any ad hoc duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Qualification of "O" level equivalent or higher education preferred
  • Knowledge of warehousing, transport and practical freight forwarding
  • Past experience preferable in similar capacity
  • This position requires a person who is self-starter, who can accomplish the task with minimal or no supervision
  • Able to cooperate with other unit
  • Meticulous and well organized
  • Valid Forklift license preferred but not a prerequisite

  • 5.5 days work week, regular hours
  • Work location: Tuas
