Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Manager to oversee and ensure the smooth running of department.
  • Ensure inbound & outbound shipments are accurate and the receiving, picking, packing and staging of goods are in accordance with the highest levels of productivity.
  • Participate in establishing work schedules. Ensure work schedules are correctly implemented and jobs are assigned effectively.
  • Review & convert the customer's specification and requirement to in-house specification.
  • Liaise with internal & external parties for all Operation's matter.
  • Focus on improvement projects for Operations.
  • Focus on meeting both Internal and External KPI.
  • Train employees on the proper procedures for each customer account. Monitoring their performance and progress. Maintain current work procedures (SOP).
  • Maintain customers' required quality standards.
  • Maintain a clean, neat and orderly work area. Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse. Conduct operations in a manner which promotes safety.
  • Assure the integrity of the inventory and oversee physical inventories. Work directly with Inventory Controller in resolving discrepancies.
  • Involved in continuous improvement/cost management/cost rationalization/workflow improvement.
  • Maintain staff discipline, morale, and departmental harmony.
  • Look into customer's complaint & issues.
  • Other responsibilities stated in Quality Manual and Quality Procedures Manual.
  • Ensure the efficient and safe operation of all materials handling equipment.
  • Perform other duties as required or assigned by Supervisor/Manager & Management.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of working experiences in logistics / operations but fresh grads are welcome to apply.
  • Recognized Diploma / ITE preferably in Logistics / Supply Chain / Operations Management
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving, troubleshooting and communication skills.
  • Eager to learn and inquisitive by nature.
  • Proficient in English, knowledge of different languages would be an advantage to communicate more fluently.
  • Able to multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Positive attitude, meticulous, and possess good organizational skills.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
