Centre for Lifelong Learning and Individualised Cognition (CLIC) is a research collaboration between the University of Cambridge and Nanyang Technological University (NTU) and hosted by the Cambridge Centre for Advanced Research and Education in Singapore (CARES) that aims to develop neuroscience-based interventions for lifelong flexible learning.

CLIC invites applications for the position of Senior Research Fellow.

Key Responsibilities:
To conduct research in support of the CLIC objectives including:Collaborate actively within and outside the institutions to complete research projects and advance thinkingTo extend, transform and apply knowledge acquired from scholarship to research and appropriate external activitiesWrite or contribute to publications or disseminate research findings using other appropriate mediaTo assess, interpret and evaluate outcomes of researchMake presentations at conferences or exhibit work in other appropriate eventsRoutinely communicate complex and conceptual ideas to those with limited knowledge and understanding as well as to peers using high level skills and a range of mediaMentor colleagues with less experience and advise on personal developmentCoach, train and support colleagues in developing their research techniquesTo carry out or contribute to appraisals as appropriateTo supervise or co-supervise other researchersTo develop own research interests within the scope of the CLIC programme

Job Requirements:
Educated to degree level, normally with a PhD in the relevant specialist subject areaAt least three years of postdoctoral research experience at the level of Research Fellow, or equivalent experiencePossess sufficient breadth/depth of specialist knowledge in the discipline and of research methods and techniques to develop research objectives, projects and proposalsA developing bibliography of research publicationsA track record of securing research fundingWilling to take a leading role in the coordination and co-supervision of research studentsAn interdisciplinary and collaborative research approachWillingness to undertake management and administrative dutiesWill continually update knowledge in the specialist area and engage in continuing professional developmentExperience in managing own workload
