We are in search of a Solution Analyst - Finance Automation Robotics / Accounting Specialist eager to support Finance in driving innovation and exploring opportunities for automating financial processes while utilizing various citizen development tools. This position is available in Shanghai, Singapore, or Mumbai. As part of this role, you will collaborate with finance functional leaders to spearhead the design, development, and testing of advanced RPA solutions following best enterprise practices. Working cross-functionally with business operations and analysts, you will create and refine workflow processes. You will take the lead in initiatives involving the design and management of workflow automation projects, testing, and bug resolution. To excel in this role, experience with robotic process technologies like Blue Prism and UI Path is essential. Additionally, this role presents numerous chances to engage in developing innovative digital capabilities using cutting-edge technologies such as artificial intelligence to accelerate Dow's digital transformation.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect and evaluate business requirements for Robotics initiatives and other areas of focus such as artificial intelligence by collaborating with business/functional teams.
- Lead the end-to-end solution development to fulfill automation needs across multiple technology platforms: AI, Blue Prism, UiPath, Python Script.
- Collaborate with other Finance robotics analysts to review RPA solution designs based on gathered requirements.
- Develop requirements and design documentation to ensure long-term support for the solution.
- Partner closely with business process teams, global functional teams, and stakeholders to design and implement RPA projects.
- Provide guidance to newly trained robotics resources on best practices and development/design techniques.
Key Skills & Abilities
- Experience or familiarity with UiPath or other robotic process technologies.
- General understanding of coding design principles and agile development practices.
- Proficiency with SAP ECC/BW.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
Required Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in Data and Analytics, Accounting, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent job experience of 7 years.
- Minimum of 5 years of software development experience.
- Knowledge of other robotic process technologies (Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, etc.).
- Familiarity with IT work processes, methodologies, and tools, with a keen interest in learning modern technologies like AI and citizen development tools within the Microsoft suite (including Agile and Scrum).
- Excellent English communication skills to address technical issues with customers and translate business requirements into technical terms effectively.
- Project experience in designing and developing within the robotics process domain is advantageous.
