The Office of Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) has responsibility for managing the ERM Program for the University.

The Office is seeking a Manager, reporting to the Director (ERM) to assist in identifying, analysing and overseeing the management of risks in the University.

Responsibilties

  • Implement Risk Management & Assurance ProgramsEnhance, manage, and execute the University's ERM Program; apply the ERM framework & Policy and manage the ERM work planAssist to conduct and coordinate risk management workshops throughout the UniversityReview & track the key risks identified at University level
  • Make Available ERM TrainingParticipate in the creation and delivery of ERM-related educational programs to enhance training and awareness of risk management and policy compliance requirementsMake available online training and educational resources on ERM Intranet and/or Workday training portal
  • Provide updates and support to key stakeholdersAssist to provide regular updates to stakeholders, including University senior management and the Audit & Risk Committee (ARC)Assist with the ARC secretariat duties for the University, including the preparation of agenda, reports, discussion papers and presentations, as well as in preparing minutes of meeting.

Monitor internal audit or risk mitigation plan and act as the coordinator for arrangements of meetings, discussions and follow-up with internal stakeholders.


  • Insurance management for the UniversityAssist with the administration of the insurance function for the UniversityPartner with our insurance broker for insurance matters
RequirementsA recognised degree in any disciplineKnowledge and experience in Enterprise Risk ManagementMinimum 5 years of relevant experience in the following:Strategic and Operational AnalysisProcess ReviewWorkshop FacilitationTechnology ApplicationProject ManagementExperience in the Higher Education Sector

We are open to consider candidates who has less than 5 years of relevant experience. The position offered will commensurate based on the years of experience.
