Operations:

  • Plan & manage turnaround operations for cruise ships calling Singapore and other localities.
  • Plan, organize and be present during operation.
  • Monitor, communicate and report trends from guest & crew feedback to ensure continuous operational improvement during each turnaround day.
  • Be the escalation point for any issues during the operations involving guest or staff.
  • Key contact for shipboard teams and pier to ensure a smooth turnaround operation.
  • Ensure all cruise brand requirements and port standards are being met and uniform guidelines are adhered to.
  • Responsible for inventory and safe storage of all cruise line property.
  • Responsible for all incident/accident's forms for guests and staff and action any concerns/hazards as necessary.

Administration

  • Distribute all necessary documents/materials to the team for all operations.
  • Oversee accurate sign in sign out (SISO) of staff to ensure accurate information submitted for salary computation.

Job requirements

  • Relevant experience in operations, events management, administration.
  • Ability to use MS Office tools such as Word, Outlook and Excel
  • Good communication skills essential
  • Proactive guest service mindset with a clear focus on quality and efficiency
  • Open to learn, grow and drive your career while spreading smiles across the globe
  • Team player with a supportive attitude
  • Ability to work under pressure, multitask and meet multiple and sometimes conflicting deadlines
  • Competent computer skills to manage operation and train staff
  • Fluent in English both verbal and written. Other languages a plus
  • Prior experience in Cruise Terminal Operations will be a plus
