Job responsibilities:

This role will manage and oversee operational security aspects of the Thales ecosystem across Asia. These include the management of Security tools and services, the creation, implementation and maintenance of policies and processes. Working with IS teams on continual improvement initiatives and contributing to user awareness.

  • Working with IS to configure, deploy and maintain software security services and mitigations such as AV, Vulnerability Assessment, Endpoint FW, disk encryption, LAPS, GPOs.
  • Undertaking incident response for security incidents to ensure risk to the company is minimized
  • Work with appropriate IS Run teams to implement any suggested improvements derived from assessments and audits that were undertaken
  • Work with IS to validate and ensure policies around credential management, account lifecycle management are implemented and followed
  • Performing validation of Active Directory policy and Firewall policy changes
  • Engaging with key stakeholders and staff to raise awareness and provide training on Security issues and best practices.
  • Supporting IS Projects in assessing security requirements and potential implementation solutions that meet the information security requirements to minimize risk to Thales

Job Requirements:

  • Diploma/Degree in IT or related
  • Trained in ITIL, having security qualifications is an advantage
  • At least 35 of industry working experience
  • Experienced in working with IT systems, Active Directory, networking and firewalls
  • Experience with SecOps tools McAfee EPO, Tenable Nessus, Tenable.
AD, PingCastle or equivalent

  • Selfmotivated and a team player, with the ability to work independently
  • Possess good commutation skills
  • Has the ability to grasp an objective and plan and execute the actions to reach the desired outcome
