THE ROLE
About the Role

This is a hands on role, responsible for all General Ledger matters for assigned legal entities and ensure accurate and timely reporting of the results.

The role is required to have a close partnership with other finance teams, internal key business partners as well as external audit/tax agents.

In addition, the role requires strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities within tight deadlines.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist Accountant in Month end close preparation.
Support in monthly balance sheet reconciliation
Provide support to other teammate
Take part in local audit and tax matter for the entities assigned
Support implementation of internal control
Participate in ad-hoc projects as required
Prepare trial balances and analyze key accounts to identify unusual transactions

ESSENTIAL:

Undergraduates who can commit for at least 6 months (Jul to Dec 2024) for a full-time internship.
Self-motivated and self-starter, with a strong work ethic and a sense of confidentiality.
Possesses cross-cultural awareness and high emotional intelligence.
Articulate, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Good balance of a professional attitude while having fun.

LEARNING OUTCOMES
System knowledge - SAP, Ariba, Oracle (Hyperion)
Local statutory requirement - Audit (IFRS) and Tax
