About the opportunity

The Director, Product Management for Asia is responsible for leading and helping set the overall strategic direction for the Dayforce and Regional Payroll Platform offerings, which moves more than $350B annually between employers, employees, tax authorities, and other entities -the cornerstone for our continuous calculation and On-Demand Pay.

This person will work alongside the ANZ product team and lead the Asia Product team in designing, building and delivering a market leading product experience to customers and users.

Additionally, they will oversee and have control of all planning and staffing for the Tax & Payments Product team.

As a people leader, they will ensure well-defined career paths and growth opportunities for the functional area, as well as provide exceptional coaching to the team.

What you'll get to do

  • Determine the Dayforce product roadmap specific to the Asia region, priorities and feature sets for the product suite
  • Lead teams in developing research priorities, design validation, feature prioritization, epic / story definition, etc.
  • Communicate key user needs, vision, and strategy to the wider organization, and provide thought leadership on broad HCM requirements in Asia helping our customers tackle their business problems
  • Build internal consensus across multiple teams and the P&T executive leadership team around a strategic approach to growth and expansion
  • Leads in discussions with industry thought leaders to explain our Asia strategy
  • Oversee the Asia product team's collaboration with development teams to execute on platform priorities and roadmap
  • Presents at conferences, technical forums and with industry analysts to evangelize Ceridian's technology strategy
  • Communicates value of new features to stakeholders, thirdparty vendors and customers
  • Articulates and directs implementation of product management strategies, with a singular focus on key customer feedback, wants/needs, and industry data/insights
  • Stay up to date on industry trends, customer requirements & competition and encourages the entire function on continuous learning and innovation
  • Provides leadership, coaching and career development to Product Managers or Product Owners
  • Is seen as a thought leader in the external market and represents Ceridian externally through webinars, podcasts, conferences, technical talks etc.

Skills and Experience we value

  • Proven track record of managing cloudbased, enterprise products, and a deep understanding of tax or money movement solutions
  • 10+ years of Product Management experience in a leadership capacity
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, Master's preferred
  • Experience managing multiple products in an HCM software environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex ideas in a clear, concise fashion to technical and nontechnical audiences
  • Experience with Agile / SCRUM product development methodologies
