Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Designing, producing, and installing components that meet requirements
  • Execute the entire product development lifecycle (design, create, test prototypes, manufacture, and implement)
  • Analyze issues or deficiencies and devise solutions to address them
  • Conduct experiments and assessments to enhance and innovate product designs
  • Develop plans and designs utilizing CAD technology
  • Assess the overall performance, reliability, and safety of the final product
  • Estimate project budgets and timelines
  • Create technical documentation for equipment operators
  • Ensure products comply with regulations
  • Collaborate with project managers and fellow engineers
  • Coordinate with vendors to finalize modules
  • Handle mechanical documentation

Requirements:

  • Candidates should have a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Mechatronics)
  • Prior experience in the mechanical engineering field
  • Proficient in computer skills, particularly in CAD, CAM, and Matlab/LabView programs
  • Capable of running simulations and analyzing test data
  • Able to produce clear and comprehensive technical documentation
  • Strong analytical abilities, exceptional problem-solving skills, and keen attention to detail
  • Approximately 2 years of technical experience in a Semiconductor setting. Candidates from other industries with sound equipment knowledge are also encouraged
  • Experience in diagnosing PC-based fully automatic equipment in semiconductor and other industries
  • Thorough understanding of equipment control and troubleshooting techniques
  • Familiarity with die bonder application and processes is a plus
